House Of Fun Slot Review
Some people are afraid of haunted houses and other's aren't. I'm told It's merely a question of whether you let yourself believe in the supernatural or not. I disagree though. It's all a frame of mind - I mean I find re-runs of Scooby Doo scary! The idea of breaking down on a deserted road at night and taking refuge in a spooky mansion is enough for me to put a household ban on any road trips. Betsoft's House of Fun video slot paints that exact scenario and while it has tinges of humor, it's also got plenty of scares. Designed to keep you on the edge of your seat, this game can be experienced on P.C, mobile device or tablet. The intro is stunning and more than a little freaky – it's like a mind meld of Tim Burton, Wes Craven and Steven King. Everything about it is twisted, bizarre and funny at the same time. I felt engrossed, enamored, amused and frightened – basically my emotions had been put in a blender.
House of Fun is a low volatility 5 reel and 30 payline slot. The standard symbols are so peculiar that each warrants a description:
Impish small deformed man.
Craggy old gardener.
Grey cat with huge blue eyes.
Painting of stately grey haired gentleman.
There is no wild, but there are a few special symbols. The jack-in-the-box is the scatter, while the ringmaster is the bonus scatter. There is also a laughing gargoyle which is the bonus symbol. Betsoft controls, as usual, are nicely embedded into the game screen. Up top is View Pays, while the rest is down below: Choose Coin, Select Lines, Bet Per Line, Spin and Max Bet Spin. There's no way you can speed through the scares as there is no Turboplay available.
3 or more jack-in-the-box symbols anywhere triggers a minimum of 5 Free Spins in which the center reel is wild!
Mad Click Me: 3 or more ringmasters on paylines 1-3 triggers this feature. Click to reveal prizes until a “collect” is revealed.
Escape Bonus Round: 3 or more laughing gargoyles on a winning pay line triggers this feature in which you need to choose a door through which to escape. Hopefully, first, you'll get some prizes along the way!
You can't beat Betsoft graphics and animation. House of Fun is a clear testament to that fact with a dazzling array of incarnations. The music is the perfect mix of fun and fright while sound effects keep the game rolling along nicely. Despite how technologically advanced this game is, I had zero issues on any platform or device tested.
The immersive gameplay in House of Fun is second to none – as too are the graphics and animation. It feels like you're in an interactive movie. The rewards aren't too shabby either – with some great Free Spins and Bonus Games. Perhaps my only complaint would be that I found the Free Spins few and far between. But apart from that, it's an all-time classic. So, give yourself a frightful delight and enter the House of Fun!
